Hawaii's Malie Organics introduces luxurious Botanical Body Gloss
Hawaii’s leading organic beauty brand introduces luxurious Botanical Body Gloss
Original first-of-its-kind product Precisely formulated for ultimate hydration Gives skin an alluring luster similar to a lip gloss but without the sticky factor
Kauai: Hawaii’s leading and most beloved organic beauty brand, Malie Organics, is proud to unveil its new locally-made Botanical Body Gloss, an innovative, first-of-its-kind product that gives skin an intense hydration boost to reveal a healthy glow and an alluring luster similar to the shimmer of a lip gloss but without the sticky factor. Malie’s Botanical Body Gloss is luxury natural skincare at its finest. A carefully crafted blend of organic botanical butters are melted with raw island honey and beeswax, then whipped with sumptious extra virgin coconut oil to form a thick, smooth mixture that glides on effortlessly, sinks in immediately and satisfies the skin with silky radiance. While most lotions contain up to 70 percent water, Malie’s Botanical Body Gloss is water and alcohol free allowing the nutrients of the natural ingredients to deeply penetrate the skin to naturally cleanse and rejuvenate pores, creating a gorgeous, youthful glow. This deluxe ultra moisturizing formula, which can be applied to wet or dry skin, contains emollients from the rich oils inside the seeds of fruit and nuts, also making it last longer in topical applications than lotions.
Creamy coconut oil serves as the perfect carrier oil that easily absorbs to deliver the powerful benefits of honey, butters and beeswax to every pore. Coconut oil is abounding in antioxidants helping to prevent wrinkles and sagging skin. The ancient healing properties in honey have been proven to promote healthy skin tissue growth, fight aging factors and sooth irritations. Both honey and beeswax contain antibacterial and antifungals that remove and prevent toxic build up.
Botanical butters paired with beeswax, plump, soften and feed dehydrated skin:
Organic mango butter is rich in vitamin A, C and beta carotene and prevents degeneration of skin cells, restoring skin flexibility.
Organic aloe butter, rich in amino acids and active enzymes, relieves irritations caused by burns and rashes.
Organic macadamia nut butter is high in Omega 3 & 6, promoting a soft, youthful appearance while aiding in recovery of sunburn and scars.
The characteristic fragrances of delectable coconut and sweet honey complement Malie's signature aromas and leave skin with a perfectly perfumed tropical essence.
Indulge in Malie’s Botanical Body Gloss while enjoying the tropical scents of Plumeria, Kokeʻe, Pikake and Mango Nectar.

This product just came out on April 9th. It's suppose to be new and improved than the older version of JBCO.
The company says that:
It is the darkest Jamaican Black Castor Oil because the beans are roasted longer which produces more Ash Content. More ash content increases the effectiveness of the oil. Therefore, it will strengthen and increase the length of our hair faster. Also Sunny Isle Castor is the ONLY Jamaican Black Castor Oil that comes in a safety sealed bottle for protection.
Of course I will be trying this product out.
JBC Distributors is now under new management and they are suppose to currently (4/14/10) have about 6,000 units in stock and ready to ship. I know some people have have problems with shipping and backorders in the past but according to the company these new units are ready to go.
They are carrying 4 new versions of JBCO (Not longer Tropical Isle, the are Sunny Isle):

I used my mole to kind of track how much my hair grew. It seems that I have gotten about 5 inches of growth in 6 months. This is pretty good for me since I don't get much growth during the summer months, my hair grows the most during November-February months.
Now during this hair challenge I had to ease up on the JBCO because I found out that I'm allergic to the Extra Dark Formula and that was the only bottle I had left to use. So I only added my JBCO to my Organix conditioner and would leave a little in after I washed with it. I had to stop using the Extra Dark JBCO on my scalp and ends because it would seriously break my skin out with painful sores and pimples. Using it in just my conditioner was enough for me to reap the benefits of it.
I did however purchase the JBCO Shampoo and washed my hair once a week with it. It doesn't strip my hair and left it soft. For one month I tried the Bee Mi…
OCC Lip Tar in Mannequin, Rollergirl and Kimber
I picked up a few OCC Liptars at the IMATS Show yesterday. I also purchased some of the new lip liners that I learned about last year by attending the PHAMExpo.
These new 2014 liptars are amazing. They are a little different then the traditional Matte Liptars, not just because of the new logo and color but the opaqueness is different to me. I do love them and each one will be used this year constantly because they are truly gorgeous.
On the OCC website liptars are $18.00 for 0.33 fl. oz. as well as on Sephora's website. However if you're a professional makeup artist you can apply for a Pro account at OCC and Nigel's Beauty Emporium. At IMATS I was able to get these liptars for $10 each.
The liptars are designed to have the wear of a lipstick, long lasting, with the ease of a gloss. These matte liptars are no exception. They last about 5 hours for me before I have to reapply because I had lunch or had my morning hot chocolate.…
